Superfood 65 recipes are full of unique benefits, including a huge 65% total animal content, of which 35% is freshly prepared in each recipe. Other pet food recipes may only use dried meat meal (essentially a dehydrated powder) versions of the proteins. Therefore, the meats have been cooked at high temperatures which denatures the protein and reduces the quality overall.

The Superfood 65 recipes have naturally occurring collagen in the meats to help maintain healthy joints. It also helps to replenish bone health and protect the skin and coat health. Dietary collagen is important to help maintain life-long, strong, healthy bones.

Angus cattle are known for their significant muscle content and classed as higher quality produce compared to regular beef due to increased marbling (amount of intramuscular fat). Good marbling means fat is dispersed thinly and evenly throughout the meat, ensuring consistent texture, juiciness and flavour. Angus beef is also lower in saturated fat, rich in amino acids, vitamins and minerals.
