Blagdon Blanketweed Away – Small (623g) is an effective solution for controlling and eliminating balnketweed and string algae in garden ponds.

Utilising a blend of minerals and enzymes, this treatment alters the pond’s water chemistry to create an environment that is inhospitable to these invasive algae. Thereby promoting the growth of healthy pond plants.

Designed for ease of use, Algaway is safe for fish, wildlife, and pets, making it suitable for all pond type. The treatment should not cloud the water and can be used without turning off the UV.

Each 623g container treats up to 10740 litres (2360 gallons) of pond water.

Directions of use:

1.  Remove as much blanket weed as possible by hand – this increases the effectiveness of the product
2. Dissolve one level capful per 650 litres (143 gallons) in a bucket of warm water
3. Distribute evenly across the surface of the pond
4. Repeat the treatment weekly for one month, then as required

For optimal results, ensure good pond aeration and consider using Blagdon Sludge Buster to break down the waste.
