Delivery Days and Areas

A local delivery service is available. We do not use a courier company, your order is delivered by a staff member. If you would like your order delivered, please leave a message in the notes box at the checkout if ordering online and we will ring you once we have received your order to arrange a day and time. Due to possible Covid lockdown, weather or travel restrictions we maybe unable to delivery to you, we apologise in advance if this causes any inconvenience

We are currently offering free delivery on any order over £60.00 per delivery. The free delivery order cannot be split into multiple deliveries. Any orders under £60 will incur a delivery charge. We have introduced a pay per mile delivery charge and will work out the distance from the store to your address. The minimum cost is £3.00 for the first 3 miles (4.8km) and then thereafter an extra £1.00 per mile.  If you would like a home delivery but your postcode is not listed or you are not within the marked areas please call the shop on 01435 864652 Monday to Saturday 08.30 to 17.00.  *Delivery days are Mondays and Wednesdays only – please see map for your day. You must inform us if you are self isolating when you place your order.  All deliveries will be left in a pre arranged designated place.

Postcodes (within an approximate 15 mile radius only) that we deliver to are TN21, TN20, TN22, TN19, TN32, TN33, TN5, TN6, TN3, BN22, BN26, BN27 and BN8.  If your postcode is not listed, please contact the shop on 01435 864652. Delivery Orders under £60 are subject to a delivery charge.

  • We will consider posting certain items under 2kg in weight to addresses in the UK but we currently do not post items as part of this online shop. Please call the store for more details on 01435 864652. Any items posted will be by Royal Mail Signed For at their current rates. Any returns costs are at the purchasers own expense.
  • If the normal delivery day for your area falls on a Bank Holiday they will be delivered as follows:  Monday deliveries will be the next day on a Tuesday.
  • ​Distance is calculated from this store (TN21 8LG) to your delivery postcode using our distance calculator in store at the time of order.

Click and Collect (Local Pickup) Service
A Click and Collect service is available at The Pet Food Shop, Heathfield, East Sussex, TN21 8LG. The service is available for online and telephone orders only and collection is subject to availability. There is a minimum order value of £5.00 on any Click and Collect Shopping order. The Click and Collect Shopping service is available from 08.30am to 15.00pm Monday to Saturday (excluding Bank Holidays). We are closed on Sundays. Orders placed after 15.00pm on a Saturday will not be ready for collection until 10am on Monday. Orders placed around a Bank Holiday will not be ready until the next working week day e.g. Good Friday orders can be collected on the following Tuesday, subject to availability.  We will make every effort that your orders placed before 15.00pm will be available for collection within 2 hrs from the time of the order. Orders place after 15.00pm will be available for collection by 10am the next working day. Subject to availability and store opening hours. If your order is not yet available for collection we may ask you to wait or to return at the agreed time. You will be unable to amend your order once placed but can telephone 01435 864652 to cancel the order within 2 hrs and we will issue a refund within 48hrs. Payment is taken when you place an order. Click and Collect products are picked from the store on the day of order and stored at the temperature appropriate to that product until you arrive. Our stock levels vary throughout the day and it is possible that a substitute product may be available in store. If a product becomes unavailable before collection of the order we will issue a refund or credit for that item.  Frozen product orders must be picked up by the close of business on the day of the order being placed. We cannot store ordered frozen products overnight due to limited storage space. Frozen product orders not collected before close of business on the day of the order being placed will be cancelled and a refund will be issued within 4 working days.  We reserve the right to cancel and refund your order if you do not collect it within 48 hrs. To collect your order please bring the following: Booking Confirmation or Valid photographic ID and your Payment Card. Orders will not be released without these items.  We cannot accept liability if the service is limited, unavailable or products are unavailable due to operational reasons or circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to amend or terminate the availability of the Click and Collect Shopping service at any time and without notice.
