Established in 1971 by a local family, The Pet Food Shop Heathfield, East Sussex, has been serving the community from Station Approach since 1986. Over the past 50+ years, our core principles have remained the same. We provide what our customers need, when they need it, offering a range of quality pet foods and accessories.

We are open Monday to Saturday from 08:30 to 17:00 (closed on Bank Holidays). Visit us in-store or explore our full range of products in our online store (click the red 'Shop' button above). Our shop is located in Heathfield, East Sussex, and we offer a wide variety of pet food and accessories.
Our selection includes brands such as Ancol, Burns, Burgess Excel, Butchers, Catsan, Chappie, Chuckit, Dreamies, Forthglade, Happy Pet, James Wellbeloved, Johnsons, KONG, Little Ones, Natural Instinct, Natures Menu, Natures Deli, Nutriment, Paleo Ridge, Rosewood, Skinners, Thomas, Thrive, Wagg, Whiskas, among others.
Additional Information
We offer an extensive selection of pet accessories for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small animals, including toys, coats, training aids, beds, cat scratchers, leads, collars, and bedding materials (like hay, straw, and sawdust). Additionally, we provide a variety of wild bird feeders suitable for seeds, peanuts, suet, and mealworms. These are available in-store, and items not in stock can be ordered upon request, subject to our wholesaler's inventory.
We also accept orders for hutches, wildlife and bird boxes, bird tables, and feeding stations throughout the year. Orders can be placed via telephone or email, with payment required at the time of ordering.
Looking for a product but it's out of stock?
We are more than willing to order it for our customers, and we can typically obtain the products within a few days due to our multiple weekly deliveries from wholesalers. Through our suppliers, we have access to thousands of different items.
The Pet Food Shop is conveniently situated on Station Approach in Heathfield, East Sussex, just off the bustling High Street, which facilitates the loading of large items such as sacks, dog beds, rabbit hutches, etc, thanks to ample on-street parking.
